Tetra Tech (TTEK) said Thursday the Mobile District of the US Army Corps of Engineers has selected the company for a $49 million multiple-award contract to deliver engineering design and technical services.
The contract runs for a five-year period to improve civil works infrastructure in the southeastern US region, the company said.
The group will provide design and technical work covering navigation channels, flood risk mitigation, and ecosystem rehabilitation projects, Tetra said.
The company also said the contract involves delivering similar design services in Central and South America.
Shares of Tetra Tech were up more than 1% in recent Thursday trading.
