Tesoro Gold's (ASX:TSO) results from infill drilling at the Ternera gold deposit, part of the El Zorro project in Chile, continued to support the continuity and grade distribution profile of mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It hit intercepts of 66.30 meters at 1.71 grams per tonne grade of gold from 375 meters, as well as 35 meters at 1.2 g/t grade of gold from 533 meters.
On completion of the infill program, three rigs will be redeployed to the 12,000-meter drilling program targeting new areas of gold mineralization at multiple prospects.
Its shares lifted 7% in recent trading on Monday.
