Tesla's (TSLA) Full Self-Driving supervised driver assistance system is being assessed by Finland's Traficom for approval in the country, following provisional type-approval granted by the Netherlands, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency said on Tuesday.
Traficom is also taking part in the European Union-level process that is working with the manufacturer and other authorities and evaluating the safety of the system, the agency said.
While the EU-level vote is expected to take place in October, Traficom said that it may recognize a national approval for the system before the vote, the agency added.
Tesla did not immediately respond to' request for comment.
