Tencent Holdings (HKG:0700) completed the issuance of $2.45 billion and 15 billion yuan of bonds under its global medium-term bond program, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.
The offering comprised $1.75 billion of 5.00% senior bonds due 2036, $700.0 million of 5.60% senior bonds due 2046, 11 billion yuan of 2.50% senior bonds due 2036, and 4 billion yuan of 3.10% senior bonds due 2056.
The Chinese tech giant intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including refinancing.
