Ten Pao Group to Spin-off Unit in China

Ten Pao Group (HKG:1979) said its plan to spin-off and list its Ten Pao Electronics (Huizhou) unit in China was approved by a stock exchange in the mainland, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The charger manufacturer's shares fell over 2% in morning trade Friday.

The company did not identify where it planned to list A shares of Ten Pao Electronics, which is mainly engaged in the charging device related business.

Ten Pao Group said the proposed spin-off was currently preliminary in nature.

Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) said results from the completed 3,237.2-meter diamond drilling program at its Lincoln gold project in California are expected to support the conversion of the current non-compliant mineral resource estimate of 958,910 tonnes at 9.29 grams per tonne grade of gold for Lincoln-Comet and Medean to a JORC-compliant estimate, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The results largely matched expectations from previous drilling and confirmed the high-grade nature of the primary target mineralization.It encountered intercepts of 6.4 meters at 1.41 g/t grade of gold from six meters, as well as 0.4 meters at 26.9 g/t grade of gold from 3.9 meters.

Aspial Lifestyle to Raise SG$85 Million via Equity Fund Raising

Aspial Lifestyle (SGX:5UF) plans to raise around SG$84.8 million in gross proceeds via an equity fund raising, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Shares of the consumer lifestyle company were up over 1% in Friday trading.The consumer lifestyle group intends to issue 149.3 million new shares via a private placement to raise roughly SG$60.0 million. Additionally, a non-renounceable preferential offering of 61.7 million shares will be extended to existing eligible shareholders to raise a further SG$24.8 million.Both tranches are priced at S$0.402 per share.Aspial stated that the proceeds will be utilized for general corporate activities, working capital needs, and potential strategic investments.DBS Bank, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp or OCBC (SGX:O39), SAC Capital and United Overseas Bank (SGX:U11) were nominated as joint placement agents for the exercise.
