Wall Street futures pointed higher pre-bell Tuesday as tech traders toggled risk-on switches despite ongoing Persian Gulf hostilities.
In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.5%, the Nasdaq inclined 1.4% and the Dow Jones was up 0.4%.
The VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) traded up 3.3% pre-bell.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded up 1% at $83.29 a barrel in morning hours.
Asian exchanges traded higher overnight on tech sector rallies, led by a 3.3% rise in Tokyo's Nikkei 225, a 3.6% lift on Seoul's semiconductor-heavy KOSPI index, and a 4.2% rise on Taiwan TWSE index.
European bourses tracked moderately north midday on the continent.
Danaher (DHR) fell 10.2% pre-bell despite the science and healthcare products enterprise reporting Q2 earnings and revenue above expectations, and raising its 2026 earnings guidance.

In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $66,334, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.59%. Spot gold commanded $4,068 an ounce.
