TBS Holdings' (TYO:9401) profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 18.2% to 14.5 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter, from 17.7 billion yen a year earlier.
The media and broadcasting company's basic earnings per share slipped to 92.66 yen from 110.76 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Net sales increased 4.8% to 105.4 billion yen for the three months ended June 30, from 100.6 billion yen.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects an attributable profit of 48.5 billion yen, EPS of 316.21 yen and revenue of 435.0 billion yen.
TBS Holdings expects to pay interim and year-end dividends of 50.00 yen per share each for the current fiscal year.
