Tamboran Resources Completes Acquisition of Oil, Gas Company

Tamboran Resources (ASX:TBN) completed the acquisition of Falcon Oil & Gas through the acquisition of its subsidiaries after the receipt of final approval from the Supreme Court of British Columbia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company now holds roughly 2.8 million net prospective acres, the filing said.

The company issued about 6.5 million shares of common stock to eligible Falcon shareholders on completion of the transaction, per the filing.

Cynata Says WHO Selects Generic Name for Cymerus Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Cynata Therapeutics (ASX:CYP) said the World Health Organization (WHO) selected pixenstrocel as the proposed generic name for Cymerus induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.The proposed generic name is expected to be published in 2027 in the WHO Drug Information List 136 of Proposed International Nonproprietary Name, the company said. The final confirmation is expected around May 2027.The generic name represents the active agent in iPSC-derived MSC products.

Standard Chartered to Issue $1 Billion in Debt

Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) plans to issue $1.00 billion in bonds, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The lender plans to issue the debt in the form of fixed-rate resetting perpetual subordinated contingent convertible securities that will be listed in London and Hong Kong. Issuance is expected to take place June 8.The bonds will offer interest at an initial rate of 7% and convert into shares of Standard Chartered at the rate of $26.379 per share.Funds raised will be used for general business purposes, the bank said.
