Tamboran Resources (ASX:TBN) and Daly Waters Infrastructure's jointly owned Sturt Plateau Compression Facility Trust commenced gas commissioning of the facility using gas from the Shenandoah South 2 pad, according to a late Tuesday statement by the company.
The facility will have the capacity to process up to 50 terajoules per day, with 40 terajoules per day contracted to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) under a long-term take-or-pay agreement.
Construction remains on schedule and within the AU$141 million P50 budget, with commissioning gas to be sold to the NTG at a discounted rate consistent with industry practice.
