Taiwan's Hsinchu administration has chosen Naver Cloud's business chat platform Line Works as its official collaboration tool, according to a Monday release.
The partnership will be part of the city's initiatives for smart city implementation and AI adoption for its administrative systems, with the goal of improving citizen services.
Since entering Taiwan 10 months ago, Line Works has attracted more than 10,000 users across about 150 companies and institutions, the release said.
Naver Cloud is the cloud computing and AI subsidiary of Naver (KRX:035420).
Shares of Naver rose more than 2% on Monday's close.
