Taisun Enterprise (TPE:1218) said it will fully cooperate with an investigation referenced in a media report, and does not expect the matter to have a significant impact on its operations or financial position, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The statement came in response to an Economic Daily report that alleged several former and current directors were under investigation for suspected insider trading related to the company's 2022 sale of its stake in FamilyMart.
The report said authorities searched and questioned 11 people and that former Chairman Chan Jen-tao and former director Liu Wei-lung were released on bail of NT$500,000 each and barred from leaving Taiwan.
The company said its operations remain normal and that it will fully cooperate with prosecutors and investigators.
