Synspective (TYO:290A) has secured a subsidy for the Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation program for small-scale demonstration and feasibility study projects in Japan, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The Tokyo-listed company said that it applied for subsidies totaling 222.9 million yen covering two-thirds of eligible project costs, including demonstration project costs, satellite data procurement costs, and travel expenses.
The project is scheduled to run from the subsidy grant decision through March 31, 2028, supporting an overseas satellite monitoring initiative using a small SAR satellite constellation.
