Synopsys, Taiwan Semiconductor Collaborate on Silicon Proven IP, Certified EDA Flows

-- Synopsys (SNPS) said Wednesday it has formed a partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM), to combine its silicon proven intellectual property portfolio and certified electronic design automation flows with TSMC's advanced processes and packaging technology nodes.

Financial details related to the collaboration were not disclosed.

The two companies have enhanced enablement across TSMC's 3DFabric technologies for 5.5x reticle interposer sizes, and Synopsys is working with TSMC on agentic run assistance in Synopsys Fusion Compiler on TSMC's A14 process, Synopsys added.
