Synlait Milk (ASX:SM1, NZE:SML) is expecting fiscal 2026 underlying net loss after tax of NZ$19 million to NZ$24 million, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The company expects reported net loss after tax of AU$70 million to AU$75 million for the 12 months ended July 31.
The preliminary data is subject to completion of the year end-process, which includes an external audit and impairment testing, as well as the finalization of Synlait's milk price for the 2025 to 2026 season, per the filing.
The company's reported net loss after tax came in at NZ$80.6 million for the first half of fiscal 2026.
