Suzhou Ribo Reports Positive Phase 2a Results for Vortosiran

Suzhou Ribo Life Science (HKG:6938) reported positive Phase 2a results for its investigational therapy vortosiran (RBD4059) in patients with chronic coronary artery disease.

The study showed the small interfering RNA therapy was generally well tolerated and achieved dose-dependent, long-lasting suppression of coagulation factor XI activity in patients receiving aspirin therapy, with no treatment-related serious adverse events or major bleeding reported, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.
