Susan Electricals India's (BOM:544793) shares began trading on BSE at 186 Indian rupees on Thursday, a premium of nearly 47% to the initial public offering price of 127 rupees.
The stock rose further to 195.30 rupees in morning trade, up nearly 5% from its listing price, data on BSE showed.
The 703.8-million-rupee public issue, comprising a fresh issue and an offer for sale, was subscribed more than 216 times, with strong demand across retail, institutional and non-institutional investor categories, according to an Economic Times report.
