Suntory Beverage & Food (TYO:2587) posted a 2.3% year-over-year increase in attributable profit for the fiscal first half to 42.1 billion yen from 41.1 billion yen.
Basic EPS was 136.17 yen, compared with 133.13 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Revenue rose 12% to 899.9 billion yen from 806.4 billion yen for the six months ended June 30.
The beverage and food company declared an interim dividend of 60 yen per share, payable from Sept. 3.
For the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, the company expects attributable profit of 89.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 288.03 yen and revenue of 1.826 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay year-end dividends of 60 yen per per share for the current year, which is unchanged from the year-ago period.
Shares of the company rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
