Subaru Profit Falls 10% in Fiscal Q1

Subaru (TYO:7270) posted a 10% year-over-year fall in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 49.2 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 54.9 billion yen.

The Japanese conglomerate's profit per share decreased to 69.02 yen from 75.02 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

Revenues jumped 3% in the fiscal first quarter to 1.251 trillion yen from 1.214 trillion yen in the year-ago period.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts an attributable profit of 130 billion yen, basic profit per share of 179.59 yen, and revenues of 5.2 trillion yen.

The company plans to pay a second quarter-end dividend of 58 yen per share for the current fiscal year.

Helens International Forecasts Lower Net Profit in H1

Helens International (SGX:HLS, HKG:9869) expects to book a net profit of up to 16 million yuan, compared with an adjusted net profit of 50.3 million yuan a year earlier.Meanwhile, the company expects a revenue of up to 260 million yuan in the first half of the year, compared to 291.2 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.The decrease in revenue is mainly due to a decline in the number of self-operated bars during the period.
