Subaru (TYO:7270) said it will launch an automotive financing business in North America by 2030, strengthening relationships with customers and retailers while expanding profit opportunities across its value chain.
The Japan-based automobile and aerospace products manufacturer said that the new business will cover vehicle loans, leasing products to customers, and floorplan financing for retailers, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Details regarding the investments, capital structure, and the investment amount are still under consideration and are yet to be determined.
