Star Shine (HKG:1440) expects to record a net profit of at least 24 million yuan for the first half of 2026, compared with a net loss of 22.5 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The anticipated improvement is mainly driven by robust performance in the intellectual property merchandise segment, which benefited from collaborations with a global streaming drama series and other reputable IPs, as well as a new product launch.
The company expects to publish its interim results at the end of August.
