Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) reported a second-quarter run-of-mine coal mined of 5.1 million tonnes, up 27% from 4 million tonnes in the first quarter, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Saleable coal produced increased to 3.3 million tonnes in the June quarter from 3.2 million tonnes in the March quarter, while total coal sales jumped to 3.4 million tonnes from 3 million tonnes, per the filing.
The company said it ended June with run-of-mine coal stockpiles of 1.2 million tonnes, up 67% quarter over quarter.
Stanmore Resources had cash of $138 million as of June 30. The company closed the March quarter with a cash position of $166 million, an earlier filing showed.
