St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) identified high-grade mineralization from the surface at its Araxá project in Brazil with the release of assay results from diamond drilling, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 135.1 meters at 4.86% total rare earth oxide from surface and 150.2 meters at 0.72% niobium pentoxide from surface, with the assays to feed into an updated mineral resource estimate for Araxá due for completion this quarter.
The company's shares fell 4% in recent Wednesday trade.
