Spring Airlines' (SHA:601021) available seat kilometers, or passenger capacity, rose 3.9% year on year to 5.76 billion in May, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.
Revenue passenger kilometers, which measure passenger turnover, climbed 4.2% to 5.35 billion from a year earlier.
The company carried 10,321.40 tons of cargo and mail during the month, jumping 12% from the previous year.
The airline operator's shares dropped 2% during the afternoon trade.
