Sphere Entertainment (SPHR) and Abu Dhabi's department of culture and tourism announced Yas Island as the site for Sphere Abu Dhabi, a planned entertainment venue with a construction-phase cost of $1.7 billion.
The venue will be built on a plot between Yas Mall and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and is expected to be completed by the end of 2029, the company said Thursday in a statement.
