The South Korean trade watchdog plans to impose antidumping duties on solid sodium hydroxide from China and Taiwan after concluding that the imports caused injury to the domestic industry, The Korean Times reported Thursday.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources said the Korea Trade Commission will recommend that the finance ministry impose duties ranging from 3.66% to 22.21% on products from three Chinese exporters and a 38.89% duty on one Taiwanese exporter.
