South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance said on Friday that the government will extend its existing fuel-tax cuts by an additional two months through the end of November, several media outlets reported.
The decision keeps current relief measures active, maintaining a 15% reduction on gasoline alongside a 25% reduction on diesel and LPG butane.
The ministry stated that the extension aims to ease financial burdens on consumers and stabilize domestic fuel costs, according to the reports.
