SoundHound AI Introduces OASYS Edge to Embed Conversational AI into Edge Hardware

SoundHound AI (SOUN) has introduced OASYS Edge, a new embedded architecture that brings large language model-powered voice artificial intelligence agents into edge hardware, the company said on Thursday.

OASYS Edge aims to provide users with seamless conversational AI assistance that happens regardless of connectivity, and is focused towards vehicles and smart devices, the company said.

SoundHound AI said OASYS Edge is slated for deployment late this year.

Shares of the company were down 2% in recent Thursday trading.
