Solstice Minerals (ASX:SLS) intersected wide and high-grade copper-gold mineralization from the first diamond drill hole tail completed at its Nanadie project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling returned 31 meters at 1.41% copper and 0.34 grams per tonne grade of gold from 462 meters, including 15 meters at 2.12% copper and 0.47 g/t grade of gold from 473 meters, and 38 meters at 0.87% copper and 0.25 g/t grade of gold from 547 meters, including 23 meters at 1.10% copper and 0.31 g/t grade of gold from 562 meters, the filing said.
Processing of diamond core and dispatch of diamond and reverse circulation samples is ongoing, with assays pending from 12 completed drill holes, per the filing.
Shares rose 30% in morning trade on Friday and earlier reached an all-time high.
