Solstice Minerals (ASX:SLS) said results from a step-down diamond tail from a drill hole at the Nanadie copper-gold project in Western Australia extended mineralization more than 700 meters below the surface, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered a total combined intercept of 722.3 meters at 0.44% copper and 0.13 grams per tonne grade of gold from the margin of granite to the end of the hole, including an intercept of 43.3 meters at 0.91% copper and 0.35 g/t grade of gold from 761.7 meters.
The diamond tail was drilled from 324.3 meters to a final depth of 840.6 meters, extending a phase one reverse circulation drill hole.
The firm's shares rose 5% in recent trading on Friday.
