SoftBank Group (TYO:9984) posted an 18% year-over-year decline in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 347.3 billion yen from 421.8 billion yen.
EPS was 59.85 yen, compared with 72.82 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Net sales rose 11% to 2.020 trillion yen from 1.820 trillion yen for the three months ended June 30.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 5.50 yen per share each for the current year.
Shares of the company slid more than 4% in recent trade.
