Smith-Midland (SMID) said Thursday it has secured a $10 million contract to provide precast concrete products for Virginia Department of Transportation improvements along Interstate 81 near Roanoke.
For the project, the company will manufacture and supply precast concrete sound wall, retaining walls components, and pre-stressed concrete columns from mid-2027 through 2029.
Shares rose around 2.2% in afternoon trading.
