SK Chemicals, Demoa Sign MoU to Jointly Develop Mattresses Using Skyfel Filling

SK Chemicals (KRX:285130) said it signed a memorandum of understanding with the sleeping products company Sensmom's flagship brand, Demoa, to expand the use of specialty material, Skyfel, in bedding products.

The chemical manufacturer said that under the deal, it will jointly develop and manufacture pillows, cushions, seat pads, and mattresses using Skyfel as a breathable cushion filling, according to a Tuesday release.

The material was previously used in pillows, and the partnership will replace olefin-based materials previously used in bedding fillings.
