Sirnaomics (HKG:2257) said it agreed to issue HK$11.4 million worth of shares to an individual investor, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The biotechnology company's shares gained nearly 12% in morning trade Tuesday.
The company will issue 2.4 million shares at HK$4.69 apiece to Tse Shek Ho, a vice president of the group's corporate management department.
Proceeds from the share sale will be used for general working capital.
