The drug was developed under an exclusive partnership by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical.
The approval is for the treatment of wound infections secondary to first-degree or superficial second-degree burns and scalds caused by Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus haemolyticus and Acinetobacter baumannii.
