Singapore Telecommunications (SGX:Z74) bought back 1.7 million shares on Sept. 11 under its SG$2 billion value realization share buyback program, according to a Friday filing.
The shares were purchased on the open market at SG$4.49 to SG$4.50 each for a total consideration of SG$7.8 million, including related charges.
All repurchased shares were cancelled.
The company has bought back 17.8 million shares, or 0.11% of its issued shares, since the mandate was obtained.
