Singapore Shares Remain Resilient Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty; CSC Holdings Plunges 8%

Singapore shares closed in the green on Thursday after US president Donald Trump played down the prospect of a prolonged conflict with Iran.

The Straits Times Index (STI), a key benchmark for the Singapore Exchange, ranged between 5,733.90 and 5,782.96 throughout the day. It ended the session at 5,747.71, up 3.60 points or 0.1% compared to Wednesday's close.

On the corporate front, shares of CSC Holdings (SGX:C06) plunged over 8% at the close even though it launched two new series of digital commercial paper under its SDAX commercial paper facility program.

Centurion Accommodation REIT (SGX:8C8U) closed nearly 1% lower as it secured a SG$15 million uncommitted and unsecured revolving credit facility.

Meanwhile, iWOW Technology (SGX:NXR) completed an SG$9.3 million post-completion payment to the vendor for its acquisition of Roots Communications.
