A Singapore-flagged ship was hit by an unknown projectile while traversing the Strait of Hormuz on June 25, according to a warning issued by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on the same day.
The ship's starboard side was hit by the projectile 7.5 nautical miles southeast of Dahit, Oman.
The strike caused damage to the bridge, but there were no casualties reported.
South China Morning Post had later revealed that the ship in question was flying under the flag of Singapore.
