Singapore Airlines' (SGX:C6L) group passenger traffic was up 4.9% year on year in May, according to a Monday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The airline's passenger capacity increased 5.3%, while the group's passenger load factor came in at 86%, with its flagship carrier, Singapore Airlines, logging a passenger load factor of 84.6% and low-cost unit Scoot reporting 91.2%.
By the end of May, the group's passenger network covered 135 destinations in 35 countries. Meanwhile, its cargo network spanned 138 destinations across 36 countries and territories.
Scoot also launched passenger services to Belitung, Indonesia, in May, according to the filing.
