Sime Darby (KLSE:SIME) said profit attributable to owners plunged 58% to 322 million ringgit in the fiscal fourth quarter ended June 30 from 763 million ringgit a year earlier.
Earnings per share dropped to 0.048 ringgit from 0.1120 ringgit a year ago, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.
Revenue also dropped 6% to 16.7 billion ringgit from 17.8 billion ringgit a year prior, the Malaysian conglomerate said.
The board declared a dividend of 0.11 ringgit per share for the financial year ended June 30, payable on Sept. 30.
