Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical Enrolls First Subject in Phase 3 Trial for Biliary Tract Cancer Treatment

Sichuan Biokin Pharmaceutical (SHA:688506) enrolled the first subject of its phase 3 clinical trial for its T-Bren injection in patients with biliary tract cancer, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The drug is indicated for patients with HER2-expressing locally advanced or metastatic biliary tract cancer who have failed platinum-based chemotherapy.

T-Bren is also undergoing 19 clinical trials locally and abroad, including eight phase 3 trials, one phase 2/3 trial, four phase 2 trials, three phase 1/2 trials, and three phase 1 trials for diseases covering breast cancer, gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer.

Shares rose 1% during the midday break on Monday.

Infoline Tec Group Seeks Shareholder Nod to Acquire Buildings for New Head Office

Infoline Tec Group (KLSE:INFOTEC) is seeking shareholders' approval for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Infoline IT Solutions, to acquire two adjoining intermediate units from Huayi (SEA) and Orionis Technology, respectively, for a total of 18.6 Malaysian ringgit, according to a Monday filing to Bursa Malaysia.The investor approval will be sought at the upcoming extraordinary general meeting on Aug. 28.The company's shares were down nearly 6% in recent trade.The acquired units will be used to set up the company's new head office.
