Shinsegae July Sales Rise 14%; Declares Quarterly Dividend

Shinsegae (KRX:004170) logged total sales of 452.2 billion won for July, up 14% year-over-year, according to a non-consolidated interim filing on Tuesday.

The interim report did not disclose net income or EPS figures.

On a cumulative basis, total sales for the first seven months reached 3.432 trillion won, also up 15% from the prior-year period.

The company's sales for July stood at 165 billion won, up 15% year-on-year, while cumulative accounting sales for the January-July period reached 1.283 trillion won, up 16%.

The company noted that the figures include all department store locations, including Gwangju, Daegu, and Daejeon, and remain subject to change following external audit results.

In a separate filing, Shinsegae declared a quarterly cash dividend of 1,300 won per common share, with a total payout of 11.4 billion won, payable from Sept. 18.
