Shinhan Financial Group's (KRX:055550) real estate trust unit, Shinhan Asset Trust, will absorb Shinhan REITs Management, effective Jan. 1, 2027, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
Since both entities are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Shinhan Financial, the combination will involve no new share issuance or consideration payment.
The merger by absorption is subject to regulatory and shareholders' approval.
