Shing Chi's (HKG:1741) loss attributable to owners widened to HK$7.7 million in the fiscal first half from HK$7 million a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The construction contractor's shares fell nearly 2% in morning trade on Friday.
Loss per share was HK$0.0096, compared with HK$0.0087 in the prior-year period.
Revenue for the six months ended March 31 fell 10% year on year to HK$76.7 million, figures showed.
