Shenzhen Woer Heat-Shrinkable Material (HKG:9981, SHE:002130) plans to invest up to 800 million yuan to build an electronic materials production base in Zhejiang, according to a filing with the Hong Kong bourse on Thursday.
The project will be developed on about 83 mu of industrial land in the Zhejiang Dushan Port Economic Development Zone and will focus on heat-shrinkable materials and insulating sleeves for automotive wiring harnesses and tubing protection.
The project will be funded through internal resources and proceeds from the company's global offering.
Shares of the firm were up over 2% in Friday morning trade.
