Shenzhen Sunway Communication's Attributable Profit Slides 7% in H1

Shenzhen Sunway Communication's (SHE:300136) attributable profit fell 7% to 150.5 million yuan in the first half from 161.8 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai/Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the radio frequency connectivity equipment maker decreased to 0.1561 yuan from 0.1699 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue grew 8.9% year over year to 4.03 billion yuan from 3.70 billion yuan.

Company shares fell 2% during afternoon trading on Friday.

SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) plans to purchase a 20% stake in Indonesia-based online brokerage Ajaib Group for $270 million by the end of August, making the latter an equity-method affiliate, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.Ajaib offers online brokerage, foreign-exchange margin trading, cryptocurrency and asset management services.
