Shenzhen Kaifa Technology's (SHE:000021) attributable profit rose 20% to 543.5 million yuan in the first half from 451.8 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the hard disk components manufacturer increased to 0.3452 yuan from 0.2893 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 7% year over year to 8.28 billion yuan from 7.74 billion yuan.
The company set its shareholder return plan for 2027 to 2029, under which cash dividends would account for not less than 30% of distributable profits for the year. Dividends would then be paid should basic earnings per share reach at least 0.10 yuan annually.
Cash dividend rules will not apply if it faces major investments or capital expenditures of more than 50% of audited net assets or 30% of audited total assets within 12 months.
Company shares fell 1% during afternoon trading on Wednesday.
