China Shenhua Energy (SHA:601088, HKG:1088) announced the completion and commercial launch of its Dingzhou Phase III and Cangdong Phase III power expansion projects, following the 168-hour trial operations of their final generating units.
The Dingzhou Phase III 660-megawatt expansion project is expected to supply 11.9 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity, while the Cangdong Phase III 2-unit 660-megawatt project is forecast to supply 20.1 million gigajoules of heating energy per year, according to a Friday filing to the Shanghai bourse.
Shenhua's shares fell 1% in Hong Kong during morning trading on Friday.
