Shenergy (SHA:600642) generated 25.8 billion kilowatt-hours in the first half, down 0.4% year on year.
Coal-fired power rose 2% to 18.2 billion kWh, according to a weekend filing with the Shanghai bourse. This was offset by gas-fired generation dropping 5% to 2.98 billion kWh, wind slipping 2.5% to 3.22 billion kWh and photovoltaic falling 14% to 1.42 billion kWh.
Shares of the power company rose 1% in recent trade.
