Shell (SHEL.L, SHELL.AS) on Thursday said it has paid the governments of 26 countries where it has operations a total of $23.84 billion in 2025.
Brazil is the biggest state beneficiary, receiving $4.25 billion from the oil and gas major. It was followed by Oman, Norway, Qatar, Malaysia, and Nigeria, which received the highest payment in 2024.
