Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SHA:600000) received approval from China's National Financial Regulatory Administration to increase its registered capital, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The bank increased its registered capital to 33.3 billion yuan from 29.4 billion yuan following the issuance of 50 billion yuan in six-year convertible bonds that matured Oct. 27, 2025.
Following maturity, the bonds were converted to 3.95 billion shares.
